Bill Troup
Bio :
Serving at the United States Fire Administration (USFA) since 1990, Bill Troup manages programs in research and applied technology, firefighter and emergency responder health and safety, and other areas. He is an active firefighter and EMS responder with the Alpha Fire Company in Littlestown, PA. He is has numerous fire and EMS professional certifications, including Fire Instructor II. Bill Troup has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was awarded the EMS 10: Innovators in EMS 2008 by the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) Magazine for his contributions to emergency vehicle safety for EMS responders. He is currently the USFA organizational liaison to the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ Safety, Health and Survival Section Board of Directors.
