Ricky Brockman
Bio :
Ricky Brockman is the Deputy Director of U.S. Navy Fire & Emergency Services in Washington, DC. He is a 35+ year veteran of the Fire Service including a 20-year career in the military. He has been a Chief Officer since 1982 serving in military fire departments around the world, most recently as the charter Fire Chief of the Naval Base Ventura County (CA) Fire Department. Rick holds an MBA with an emphasis in Finance, an MS in Executive Fire Service Leadership, a BS in Business Management, and is a 2002 graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. He is a past president of the Ventura County Fire Chief’s Association and is currently serving as the U.S. Navy representative on the IAFC Federal and Military Fire Service Section. He married the former Sun Ok Kim in 1975 and has two grown daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth, both graduates of Adams State College (CO).
