Bio :
I. David Daniels, MHRM, MIFireE, CFO, SHS, HSO, is a management consultant, speaker and instructor who works with public and private entities on their organizational development needs. In a 30 year career, Daniels served in 28 different capacities as a firefighter, company officer, and chief officer prior to his retirement from fire services in 2011.
Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Services Administration, a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management; completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University and is currently pursing doctoral studies in Education. He is certified as both a Safety and Health Specialist, and Fire Service Health and Safety Officer, holds member status in the Institution of Fire Engineers, and is a Chief Fire Officer designee.
Daniels a member of the Board of Directors of Fire 2020. He is also a past chair and international director and current member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Safety, Health, and Survival Section.
Daniels speaks nationally on a variety of subjects including occupational safety, organization culture and design, leadership, operational command and control.
