 Frank Montone
Bio :

Frank Montone is currently serving as the Naval Air Station Key West Fire Chief for Commander Naval Region Southeast Fire and Emergency Services, Key West Florida.

From October 2007 to March 2009, Chief Montone served as Regional Fire Department Technical Services Program Director for Commander Navy Region Japan.

In this position, Chief Montone provided Operations, Training, Prevention, and NFPA 1500 Firefighter Health and Safety program management for a Region that encompasses 19 installations extending from the entire country of Japan to Diego Garcia and Korea. He also served as Fire Chief at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka and Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan during his tenure overseas.

His duties over the course of his career included the full spectrum of Fire and Emergency Services positions; starting as firefighter and ultimately working his way to Fire Chief at 3 major DoD Installations. He also served as a member of the Air Force Space Command Inspector General Team for Fire Protection from 1997-2005.

Chief Montone and is a member of several professional organizations including the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), Texas A&M Emergency Services Training Institute-ESTI Adjunct Lead Instructor.
