Bio :
Chief Gillespie serves as the Fire Chief for the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada, the second fastest growing large city in the nation. He has also served as the Fire Chief for the cities of Augusta, Georgia and Yakima, Washington. Chief Gillespie has served in the fire service for 30 years. Chief Gillespie is the President of the Nevada Fire Chief’s Association and serves as the Treasurer of the Safety, Health, and Survival Section of the IAFC. He is has received a Fellowship from the Kennedy School of Government, a BS in Business Administration, two AA degrees, is an EFOP from the National Fire Academy, and is a designated Chief Fire Officer through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. |
