Mike Gurley is Chief Fire Officer Designate (CFOD), Battalion Chief with Virginia Beach (VA) Fire/EMS Department, and Eastern Director for the Fire Department Safety Officers Association (FDSOA). He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Management) and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Fire Science, along with thirty-five years of fire service experience.
