Bio :
John Smithgall is proudly serving CNIC Fire & Emergency Services HQ as the Navy Fire & Emergency Training and Development Program Manager. He has 18 years in the fire service as a volunteer, civilian career and federal career fire fighter, holding every position up to and including Fire Chief. He has served various fire departments in all levels of command and management including a tour of duty as Asst. Fire Chief, Training Division for the NB Guantanamo Bay, CUBA Fire & Emergency Services. In 2003, he was honored to be selected as the Department of Defense Civilian Fire Officer of the Year 2003.
