Danny Kistner
Bio :
Danny Kistner is a 29 year veteran of the Fire Service, currently serving as Chief of the McKinney, TX, Fire Department. Chief Kistner is an alum of the Kennedy School of Government, Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program, has a master’s degree in Fire and Emergency Management Administration from Oklahoma State University, a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program and the Texas Fire Chief’s Academy. He is a designated Chief Fire Officer and has membership in the Institute of Fire Engineers. Chief Kistner is the current Treasurer of the Safety Health and Survival Section of the IAFC and chair of the Safety and Health Committee for the Texas Fire Chiefs Association. Chief Kistner also serves as a Firefighter LifeSafety Advocate for the National Fallen Firefighter’s Foundation Everyone Goes Home Program.
