Bio :
Keith Padgett is currently with the Fulton County Fire Department which serves the unincorporated area around the City of Atlanta. He has served for over 25 years promoting through the ranks to his present position of Battalion Chief. He is currently assigned as a shift chief in the special operations battalion which includes the Georgia Search and Rescue (GSAR) Task Force and the Hazardous Materials response team.
Chief Padgett’s educational accomplishments include an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Business Administration from Shorter College and is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration.
Chief Padgett is a member of several professional organizations including the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Fire Department Safety Officer’s Association (FDSOA), Southeastern Fire Chiefs, Georgia Fire Chiefs and the Metro Atlanta Fire Chiefs Association. He is also a member of the IAFC Safety, Health, and Survival Section
Chief Padgett and his wife Melissa have two children, Zack and Carly and reside south of Atlanta in the town of Newnan. |
