Bio :
Keith Padgett is currently with the Fulton County Fire Department which serves the unincorporated area around the City of Atlanta. He has been with the organization for over 27 years, promoting through the ranks to his present position of Chief-Fire Marshal were he is presently assigned to manage the Community Risk Reduction Section of the department, overseeing all aspects of Fire Prevention, Fire Safety Education, Arson/Investigation and Public Information.
Chief Padgett’s educational accomplishments include an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Business Administration from Shorter College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration.
Chief Padgett is a member of several professional organizations including the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Fire Department Safety Officer’s Association (FDSOA), Southeastern Fire Chiefs, Georgia Fire Chiefs and the Metro Atlanta Fire Chiefs Association. He is also a director-at-large board member of the IAFC Safety, Health, and Survival Section. |
