Chief Keith Padgett is currently employed as the Lead Faculty Professor- Fire Science with Columbia Southern University (CSU) overseeing the Fire Professional DevelopmentProgram in the College of Safety and Emergency Services.
Chief Padgett retired as the Chief-Fire Marshal for Fulton County Fire Department, a suburb of Metropolitan Atlanta, where he was employedfor over 29 years.He was assigned to manage the Community Risk Reduction Section of the department, overseeing all aspects of Fire Prevention, Fire Safety Education, Arson/Investigation and Public Information.
An Executive Fire Officer Program alumnawith the National Fire Academy,he has also received a Chief Fire Officer Designation. Furthermore, Keith holds a Master of Science Degree in Leadership with an Emphasis in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Leadership
