2019 SHS Section Awards

From: Steve Tullis, SHS Awards Chair

The SHS Section is proud to announce the winners for the 2019 Safety, Health and Survival Awards.

The section awards recognize both organizations and individuals who have made a significant contribution to health and safety within their own organizations and the fire service as a whole.

Every year, winners are selected by a committee appointed by the Safety, Health & Survival Section. The awards will be presented during the section’s general business meeting, to be held on Wednesday, August 7 2019, at Fire-Rescue International in Atlanta, GA.

The winners that were selected in each category represent themselves, the SHS Section, and the fire service as a whole by going above and beyond to improve the safety and health of their members and organizations. All of the award winners meet the criteria for their award category.
